The odds of a RiderCourse being close to home are pretty high considering there are over 1500 sites throughout the United States.
The MSF Basic RiderCourse is designed as a 15-hour curriculum over a series of days (or consecutive weekends). After completing the course, most RiderCourse sites issue a completion card. Some states recognize these completion cards and even waive the on-bike riding skills test, or written test, needed to obtain a motorcycle operator’s license.
Be sure to ask the RideCourse site about these details prior to enrolling in the course. For a complete list of approved courses through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, click here.
