DESCRIPTION:On behalf of AMVETS Riders Chapter 26\, I’m proud to announce our 1st Annual “Wheels For a Cure” Motorcycle Ride\, taking place on Saturday\, October 24th\, 2026\, at AMVETS Post 26 in Dover\, Florida. This event will bring together riders\, families\, and supporters from all walks of life to raise critical funds for Alzheimer’s research. \nWe are reaching out to ask for your support to help us make a lasting impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. \nAlzheimer’s is a devastating and progressive brain disorder that robs individuals of their memory\, independence\, and dignity. More than 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s today\, and that number is expected to more than double in the coming decades. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA)provides vital resources to patients and families\, while also funding groundbreaking research in pursuit of better treatments and—ultimately—a cure. \nYour donation will directly support these efforts. With your help\, we can: \n\n\n\nFund innovative research to unlock the causes\, treatments\, and prevention of Alzheimer’s\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport caregiver education and respite services\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProvide nationwide programs and helplines to those affected\n\n\n\nAs AMVETS Riders\, we believe in serving our community\, honoring our veterans\, and standing beside the families affected by this cruel disease. “Wheels For a Cure” is more than just a ride—it’s a statement of unity\, compassion\, and commitment to a future without Alzheimer’s\nPlease consider joining us in this mission.
